As our company expands, we're seeking skilled event production assistant located in The Netherlands and able to work from the Eindhoven office, to join our team and contribute to elevate our events to the next level.Tasks
As an Event Production Assistant, your primary focus will be on executing and facilitating various aspects of event production. You will work closely with the event production team to bring events to life by handling tasks related to logistics, setup, maintenance, and on-site support. This hands-on role requires a proactive and resourceful individual with a keen attention to detail and a strong ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Event Setup and Execution:
- Assist with the physical setup and breakdown of event spaces, including staging, lighting, sound systems, and decorations.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and setup of equipment and services.
- Manage event signage, banners, and promotional materials, ensuring they are prominently displayed and in good condition.
- Assist with the setup and operation of equipment, such as PCs, microphones, speakers, projectors, screens, etc…
- Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during events, working quickly to resolve them to minimize disruptions.
- Coordinate with IT or technical support teams, if necessary, to ensure smooth operation of equipment and systems.
- Assist with the transportation and handling of event materials, supplies, and merchandise.
- Help with inventory management, ensuring an adequate supply of necessary items throughout the event.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for services like catering, security, and transportation
- Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues promptly.
- Manage event schedules and timelines, making sure that activities are executed according to plan.
Previous experience in event production or a similar hands-on role is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in high-pressure situations.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver quality work within tight deadlines.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects or equipment as required.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours, as events often occur during these times.
A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to go the extra mile to ensure event success.
Strong passion and knowledge for the technology industry.
Self-Starter that sets clear objectives, defining metrics and key milestones to plan and organize work.
Proactively supports colleagues and collaborates with them to help achieve targets.
Handles problems and acts on own initiative without being prompted.
