Reporting directly to the Regional Finance Director CEE, this role has broad responsibility for all required reporting and analysis for Company operations in Turkey. The Controller has overview of all transactions being accounted by external accounting service provider. As such, the position offers an excellent all-round overview of the business and the opportunity to make an impact in a high-profile controlling role.
Main duties:
Interpret, report and communicate financial results and any differences vs forecast and budget on monthly basis (preparation of management pack)

Support of Country manager in increasing business performance

Participation in the annual budgeting process

Preparation of sales and costs reporting for the month

Participation in payroll approval process

Control over the month close activities and preparation of WIP, accruals or prepayment calculations

Control and required actions for working capital (accounts receivables, unbilled projects and work in progress)

Close cooperation with external accounting team responsible for accounting functions including the control over month close process

Supporting and improving internal processes for good financial control

Support in future IT implementations in area of finance.

Calculation of tax provisions on quarterly basis

Control / preparation of tax reporting when required

Close cooperation with Regional Finance Director CEE and other key finance team members
Person Specification
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance accounting and reporting or audit roles
-
Experience in corporate reporting
-
Very good knowledge of MS Excel: file consolidation, Pivot Tables, excel formulas, ERP systems (Navision would be an advantage)

Fluent English is a must (written and oral)

University degree ( Accountancy / Finance preferred)

Big4 experience is a plus

Able to present analytical skills

Self-motivated, ability to work independently and under pressure to strict deadlines

Strong communicator, able to work effectively with colleagues both inside and outside Finance
